Security Surveillance: Chukwudi Orizu Urges Nnewi Residents Not To Panic.
Residents and visitors in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State have been urged to remain calm following the hovering of several surveillance aircraft and helicopters in the city.
Addressing the public through a press release which was made available to Anaedoonline, the Nnewi North Transition Committee Chairman, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chukwudi Orizu explained that following the intended visit of the Nigeria Chief of Naval Staff Real Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas, the security surveillance was to further strengthen the security architecture of the industrial city of Nnewi and boost the morale of officers and staff ahead of the festive season.

Hon. Chukwudi Orizu, however, urged Nnewi residents to remain calm and go about their legitimate businesses.
It is important to note that since the morning of Today, Tuesday 5th November 2019, in what many Nnewi residents have described, as unusual, some surveillance helicopters have been hovering around different parts of the town, thereby causing fear among residents.
